EDAD candidate in WTTW feature on Jan 31!
Micheal Sinde is a candidate in the GSU College of Education's MA Educational Administration program. He's also a participant in Dr. Sandi Estep's "Adventures in the American Mind" program. Mike is a teacher at Thornton Township High School in school district #205.
This Tuesday (1/31/06) at 7pm Mike Sinde will be featured on WTTW - 11 (Chicago PBS affiliate) on it's Chicago Tonight program. They are doing a special on the topic of public school funding in Illinois where Mike's classroom and students will be compared with those at Niles High School.
Mike and his class were selected for the series because of a project last year in which 50 students from Thornton and 50 students from Stagg High School in Tinley Park swapped schools for a day and then did follow-up activities related to their experiences. Mike intends to do a similar project this year with Niles.
Mark your calendar! Tune in Tuesday at 7pm to WTTW to see one of GSU's aspiring school administrators making news!
