CPS Spring/Summer 2006 Recruitment Events

The Recruitment and Workforce Planning Unit of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) cordially invites teacher education graduates to participate in our Spring/Summer 2006 Schedule of Events. CPS is the third largest school district in the United States and has more than 600 schools that need teachers. CPS offers salaries and benefits that surpass many other urban school districts. CPS's first Certified Teacher Career Fair for the current and upcoming school year will be held at Navy Pier on Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Attending the job fair will be elementary and high schools principals who have current and anticipated teaching vacancies. Following is a complete schedule of our Teacher Career Fairs for the upcoming school year:

Submission of a resume will be required for admittance into the Career Fairs. Bring additional resumes to share with administrators and school personnel. There will be no admittance into the Career Fair 30 minutes prior to the event’s scheduled ending time.

Applying online will allow you to create a candidate profile in CPS's database, which can be viewed by their recruiters instantly and will make your resume available for hiring principals.
