New Mystery and Detective Fiction Reading Group

Thank you Dean Casey for the following information:

The Friends of the GSU Library is sponsoring a new mystery and detective fiction reading group called Friends of Mysteries. The first meeting will be Tuesday, April 3, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria Annex. Bring your own lunch. We will discuss “Eisenheim the Illusionist,” a short story by Steven Millhauser in his book, The Barnum Museum: Stories. The book can be purchased on Amazon.com or be ordered at Borders. This short story is the basis for the recent movie, The Illusionist. Additionally, we will decide on mystery and detective fiction that we will read and discuss in future months. Becky Nugent and I will lead April’s discussion. The group is open to Friends of the GSU Library and the larger GSU community. Please join us!
